Im still like shaking and freaking out it was so good!

I literally didn’t stop smiling for three hours. Fuck. The music and the acting and the jokes and the dancing and the set and the fucking everything was just perfection.

Every cast member was incredible. I knew I’d have no trouble with Gavin as price but I’d had reservations about jared as Cunningham, just because, for me, josh defines that character. But jared was amazing and I didn’t even know what I’d been worried about.

The other characters - nabulungi, McKinley, general BFN, matumbo etc, all were awesome. And the choruses!! The Mormons were just OMFG and the Ugandans were incredible.

Then I met the guys who played the general and McKinley at the stage door, they were super nice. Jared was busy with guests (as was nabulungi) so I didn’t meet them.

Then Gavin came out (with wally omg!) and he signed my programme. I told him how great he was and how great the show was and he was like aw thanks and obviously I had like a million things to say to him but he was obviously in a hurry to get somewhere. So I just said ‘I just have to say thank you so much for everything you do with broadway impact, that organisation has helped me so much and I just think its wonderful. Thank you so much for founding it with Rory, it does some really important, inspiring stuff, thank you so much’ and he could kind of tell I was queer from the way i was emphasising the words and I was super emotional so he knew how sincere i was, and he was obviously really touched, and he was like ‘aww thank you that’s really sweet of you to say’ and shook my hand and said ‘thank you so much’, and he was obviously really amazed that I even knew what it was because its not prevalent at all over here. Then we just said bye and he had to dash off. No time for pics but never mind. I don’t regret it at all. It was a perfect night.

Omg. What an incredible night. I just want to see it again! It truly was something incredible and it blew my freaking mind.

I just have to write something because I am so happy right now

I’ve just found out that the West End production of The Book of Mormon has broken London and Broadway records for ticket sales. It sold over £2M ($3M) in twelve hours. I just…I am so happy because I’ve continually watched American musicals I love go down the toilet in this country. I’ve watched people hate on rent, seen people reject spring awakening, and there are so many shows that are yet to even transfer to the West End, if ever.

Ever since 2011 I have been in love with the book of Mormon and been waiting and waiting for it to come over. And now, finally, it has and I couldn’t be happier. Frankly, I would have been happy with a six month run with a sub par cast in a small theatre, just as long as I got to see it. And what is now happening is more than I could have ever dreamed.

For two years now I’ve been going on and on at my parents and friends about how good TBOM is but they never listened and didn’t take me seriously. But now my parents are intruiged and listening to radio shows about it and reading newspaper articles about it. They are finally beginning to realise that maybe I had a point. Maybe I was right when I said how incredible it was.

I’m watching this musical being reported on the national news on tv, I’m reading about it in the papers, I’m watching people get excited about it. And tonight I found out that it broke a record and I truly couldn’t be happier. It’s sold out until JANUARY. that is just….it’s mind blowing. I’m seeing it in two weeks anyway but I am going to see it again for certain.

I never thought this would - could - happen in my country. I’m so amazed and I’m actually moved to tears by this. I can’t actually describe it, what I’m feeling. I’ve been waiting so long for this and now it’s happening but it’s more than I could have ever hoped for. I never thought any of this was possible. It’s amazing and I am so so SO happy.

I just had to write this. Because I dont know if this will ever happen again, something of this magnitude and significance. I truly have no words. I’m the last person to be all native and proud, but I would like to thank my country. Bravo, England.

Elena and Ricky and Michael should star in a new musical called ‘Spring Awakening: Return of the Guilty Ones’ set 15 years after the end of purple summer. Featuring such hits as ‘and the junk kept rolling in’ and ‘don’t cry for me mama’ and ‘another bitch in another hall’ and not forgetting ‘I’d be totally fucked for you’, it would go on to win more awards than anything in history. I mean srsly why has this not happened already, we’re sitting on a goldmine here
